CCJ Rules
Members of the CCJ remain the responsibility of their
parents or guardian at all times and must not be left on site without
their parent or guardian. The CCJ is not a childminding service.
The CCJ area
In order to camp in the CCJ area
the member should have camped outside their parent or guardians unit in
a tent for a long enough period of time that both the child and the
parent/guardian are happy for them to be camped away from them in the
CCJ area.
Permission should be obtained before
entering the area
Members only to go in the area.
Anybody else wishing to go in the area
should be accompanied by a CCJ or Youth Leader.
The following are not permitted in
the CCJ area:
· Dogs
· Ball games
· Naked flames
· Running
· Children under 8 years of
age
· Sharing tents with people
of the opposite sex.
Parents and guardians of CCJ members should always ask
permission from the CCJ leader or youth leader before entering the CCJ
area.
The CCJ area should be quiet after 11pm and before
9.00am
CCJ Members Behaviour
CCJ members should be kind to
one another and should always look after each other.
CCJ members should take
responsibility for the CCJ equipment and ensure that items are well
looked after.
CCJ members should show
respect to people and should not be cheeky.
Most of all CCJ members should
be able to have a nice time together and should enjoy their time at
camping.
Failure to comply with CCJ rules
or being cheeky or disrespectful will result in a ban from the CCJ area
for a period of time. This will be at the discretion of the CCJ leader.

see the CCJ Leader Youth Leader or Assistant Youth Leaders. Any of these
people will be more than happy to help.
CCJ Activities
These activities will be organised
by the CCJ leader (Charlie Leivers). The activities are for children
aged between 8 and 12 years of age. Any Children who are aged between 6
and 8 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if they
wish to participate.
CCJ members who have participated
in CCJ activities for 6 nights (3 weekends) will be presented with a
T-shirts and then will be eligible to begin work towards their test.
CCJ members who have camped in the
CCJ area for 12 nights or 6 weekends will be eligible to take their
test.
After passing their test they will
have a recognised club qualification which will entitle them to a years
free youth membership. They will also be presented with a certificate.
Members of the CCJ remain the
